Want to shape the user interface and experience for a product that is defining a new field? Do you care about how people use software? Tamale Software is looking for UI engineers to immediately contribute to the user interface and user experience of our flagship product, Tamale RMS.
This position involves designing and implementing new features in Tamale RMS as well as constantly working to improve the overall user experience. Successful candidates for this position will report to the Senior UI Engineer.
Responsibilities include the following:
Working with various engineering teams to design the UI for the features they are implementing.
Using internal Tamale feedback and client user feedback to rapidly create prototypes.
Converting user feedback data into a better user experience.
Implementing and maintaining UI in a rich client using C#.
Along with the rest of the UX team, maintaining UI standards and style guides and ensuring consistency across the various parts of the RMS product.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Fluency in C# Winforms programming, ideally with .NET 2.0.
2 - 4 years of professional programming experience with a good foundation in performance analysis and other CS concepts.
Ideally, you:

can defend your views on why specific UIs are better than others.
are a quick learner and never afraid to speak your mind.
have experience rapidly prototyping user interfaces.
are excited to work for a company whose Joel Test Score is 12/12.
are well aware of current software design trends and best-practice techniques.
