Tamale RMS® is deployed at the client's site as a managed appliance to ensure exceptional end-to-end performance and reliability without increasing the workload of the client's IT group. The firm's intellectual capital is safeguarded by its own network security policies because the investment research never goes off-site.



The Deposit Dialog allows users to include text, images, and application snippets (copy-and-paste) to include notes about the file you're sending into Tamale RMS®. Different font styles (size, color, font face) can give more meaning to your notes.

Tamale® provides clients with an appliance designed and tested to optimize the performance and reliability of Tamale RMS. The appliance includes the operating system, database, application server, web server, Tamale RMS application, and the server hardware running all of the software.

With every new release of RMS, each component of the appliance can be updated, and is always fully tested to ensure seamless upgrades.

Speed, Flexibility
The appliance provides multiple services, but at its core it is the central repository of a firm's research.

A single appliance relays data to connected Tamale RMS clients in less than a second. The appliance also hosts server-centric features such as a web application for interacting with data over a thin connection and a BlackBerry interface. Clients' programs can interact directly with the appliance through its web service interfaces or the .NET API.

Tamale takes a hands-on approach to installation, configuration, and administration of the RMS appliance. For clients interested in administering RMS themselves, Tamale has tools available to manage permissions, monitor performance (e.g. CPU utilization, open threads), and define a structure for usage. Tamale's managed solution is a win-win proposition for a firm's IT group — it doesn't increase workload, and provides the option to administer aspects of the system.

Tamale RMS appliances are monitored 24/7. Client Services teams are located in New York, Boston, San Francisco, London, and Los Angeles to provide support coverage during the local office hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
