  Fast and Reliable
Tamale RMS® has a desktop application written on top of Microsoft's .NET platform. This enables the application to respond quickly to user commands; protect an investment professional's data in the event of a power or network disruption; and offer flexible installation and update options.

Tamale®'s Global Search feature allows users to search through all information deposited into Tamale RMS® in a quick, intuitive manner.

The Tamale® desktop application enables investment professionals to quickly execute commands — such as global searches, sorting, and grouping — in sub-second timeframes. It also makes it possible for an investment professional to continue working from a remote office over an inconsistent VPN connection, or completely offline — so that if an analyst takes a trip to an area without network connectivity, he or she can continue to access his or her full research universe.

Wide Functionality, Flexible Deployment
The desktop application also has a host of features to make the installation and update of the software seamless. Tamale RMS supports packaged MSI installs and updates, appliance-based automated updates, and manual installs. Every install can be customized by user, and preferences are held across upgrades. These options give an organization the maximum amount of flexibility in the deployment process.

The net result of these features is that the Tamale RMS client has the functionality and performance of a desktop application with the maintainability of a web-based application.
